I have an intel DP67DE motherboard ruuning a I72600k cpu. I have 4 sticks DDR3 1866(10) 8GX16 CL 10-11-10-30 1.5 volts ADATA. I can only run two sticks for 16 gig in Dimms 2 and 4, the two furthest away from the cpu, blue and black. When I put the other two the system will not boot up. What can I do? Please help.

Solution
The i7-2600k supports up to 32 GB.

The system natively supports up to 1333 MHz, so installing higher frequency memory (1866 MHz) will make the system down clock the memory to 1333 MHz to match system frequency. If wanting higher frequency, then overclocking will be required.

Clear CMOS. This will reset BIOS to default settings. Then increase DRAM Voltage as above as required.
The DP67DE supports up to 32 GB, or 8 GB per slot.

The issue is likely due to incompatibility between the individual modules, even though they are the same part number. When wanting to run multiple modules at the same time, ideally all of the modules should be from same (dual channel) kit, where the modules are guaranteed to be compatible.

Try increasing DRAM Voltage by 0.05 V. Don't exceed 1.65 V.

And what's the max cpu supports? I was surprised to find out i7-960 supports up to 24GB of RAM. But that's a long shot. The fact that blue and black slots work (so, single channel) makes me suspect setting in BIOS for dual/single channel set manually to single channel.

Solution
that board and a lot of similar intel boards are complete trash. in mine case with dp67ba board,i can only use first and third slot for ram. any other option wont work. throw it in trash can and buy asus,gigabyte...
