I bought a new assembled pc 3 weeks back. After 2 weeks of running fine, suddenly one morning, I power my computer on and discovered that my Firecuda SSHD got unallocated. I format the hard drive and started using again. Than after 2 days, it happened again. After that, frequently. Every time I make my sshd visible, after shutting down it keeps getting unallocated. I format my windows, update my bios, but the issue can't be fixed. Please help.
My Configuration-
Ryzen 7 3800x
Gigabyte Aorus Elite Wifi X570
32 gb 3600 G.Skill Ripjaws V
Zotac 1660ti
Kingston A2000 500 GB NVME (my Boot drive)
Firecuda 2 TB SSHD
Thermaltake 700w SMPS

Solution
Sector 0 contains standard Windows MBR code. It would appear that the drive has been reinitialised.

R-click the third Workspace partition and select "Insert the Partition (undelete)". Then Apply Changes and reboot to allow Windows to re-examine the drive.

If this doesn't recover your file system, then you will need to rebuild your drive.
I have seen this problem many times in various storage forums, but I haven't been able to find the root cause. In those other cases the Windows OS appears to have written NTFS metadata to sector 0.

You can recover the partition within a few minutes with the free version of DMDE. It requires only a few clicks.

Can you show us the Partitions window in DMDE?

If you d-click the Workspace volume with the BCF indicators and expand the $Root, do you see your file/folder structure?

Can you show us the contents of sectors 0, 1 and 2? That's where the damage would be.

If you want to continue without showing us the damage, r-click the Basic Data Partition and select "Remove the Partition". Then r-click the Wokspace (BCF) partition and select "Insert the Partition (undelete)". Then Apply Changes and reboot to allow Windows to re-examine the drive.

These edits only affect the first 3 sectors. They do not touch your data.

Are you accessing the first Workspace partition? That's the one you've highlighted. You need to work on the third Workspace, ie the one with the BCF indicators. There should be no need for a full scan -- the file system should appear within seconds.

You can capture the contents of sectors 0, 1 and 2 as follows:

Launch DMDE, select your physical device, uncheck the Show partitions box and click OK. You should now see LBA 0.

Check that Mode -> Hexadecimal/Text is enabled.

Editor -> Physical Sectors
focus sector = 0
first sector = 0
number of sectors = 3
click OK

Edit -> Export to text file -> export.txt -> Save

Now use Notepad or your word processor to copy and paste the contents of export.txt into your next post.

I tried all the partitions. "Remove the partition" is disabled in everywhere

Thank you for your time Fzabkar. Just two things I want to ask you-
  1. From yesterday after windows update, the hard drive does not unallocate till now. So, will I wait? Or waiting will be risky?
  2. If I need to rebuild, what will be the process? I already formatted the hard drive 2 days ago when reinstall the windows.

The difficulty with these types of problems is that the people who are best placed to fix them (ie Microsoft) don't see the damage. I don't know why your case isn't responding, but other people with similar damage have been able to recover with DMDE. In fact there was a similar case at reddit.com only a few days ago.

Thank you for your valuable guidance. I think its good to wait for another day or two to watch. I have my backups. If again the problem emerges, will of course try this method and let you know. You are a real lifesaver! Cheers!
