You HDD is in bad health which can fail anytime but if you still want to take some sort of risk with it you can try the following
You can perform a defragmentation of the drive
Run Chkdsk scan
Remove unnecessary files from hard drive
Make sure your drive isn't overheating for long
Remove duplicate files from your hard disk as it increases the disk usage and fragmentation and puts your HDD under load which deteriorates your HDD health
Make sure you have 4 5 partitions of your hard drive not just 2

But do remember that HDD is a fragile device so make sure that your data is always backed up properly

You can try to reinitialize the hdd, but that will erase whatever you have on the device.
Not worth trying.
Buy a 2.5" 1tb ssd as a replacement for about $100.
Not only will the performance of your pc improve dramatically, but a ssd with no moving parts is expected to be more reliable.
If this is your C drive, you can probably use a clone utility to convert.
