My internet connection dropped when idle for 20-30 mins?

I used a WiFi router on my house. I'm uploading a video to a site, and leaving it idle for a while. Upload goes to 84% and suddenly fails because "Connection Problem". I found out that on my laptop the connection bar pops out a yellow warning sign, and when highlighted said "No internet access".

The solution is disconnect the network from laptop and then connecting it again. I don't want to monitor my connection for 24/7. Other computer on my house have internet access for the entire time, so it's not router problem. My router is 2 meters away from laptop, it's not distance problem. Maybe it's inside my laptop.

What caused this?

How to prevent it?

It a power saving issue. On laptops to save battery power the USB and wifi ports are set to power down after a set time. Go into windows power profile and disable windows from powering off your wifi card.

Go to device manager...the wifi dongle or network wifi card. Go under properties of the device...scroll down there should be a line that says et windows power down the device after 20 min. Click on the time and pull it down to where it says never.
