My internet connection security is preventing connection to some https sites.

I have DSL and security controlled by computer software, wi-fi router, and Cujo. My system is now rejecting some secure sites but not others. How do I bypass Cujo in order to ensure that Cujo isn't the problem? The same thing happens on my other devices (phones & laptop).

I have rebooted the system, recycled the power in each unit and reset the router. No fix. I've accessed the router properties, but I'm not a tech and so I saw nothing out of order. I was hoping to find the reason for it to be blocking certain secure sites, but couldn't. They are not listed in my installed programs, so I can't "uninstall" them. I tried to bypass Cujo by unplugging it and disconnecting from my router, which was the configuration before Cujo was installed by a technician, but then I couldn't get back on the Internet.

The flag that I keep getting is:

Secure Connection Failed
