My internet download speed is 470 now ???

What is going on? I'm pretty sure it was all time 50 mbps download speed and 40 upload speed and now it's 470mbps download speed with 100 mbps upload speed?!

your ISP may have upgraded it tiers so what you pay for 50 now can be the same as what you would pay for 470 now so it may be a free increase. my ISP has been doing this over many years with me and i always paid the same rate . if you are still concerned contact them

Agree with captaincharisma….

However, being the cynical sort be sure to follow the suggestion to contact your ISP or go online to check your account.

You may have been "led" into some upgrade that will cost you more.

I.e., you got an initial good rate and service that held for some period of time then you are automatically upgraded and billed accordingly.
