My internet is slow and barely works.

Last year, I got Dish Internet. It worked fine until last December, where it gave up on itself. Well, we got additional free "1GB". That only lasted for 3 hours and it went back to the same old junk. Now, I can barely download anything because the download speeds are 1kbs per second. Sometimes it just stops and finishes the download, even though it stopped at a certain point. Some websites I go on won't load and just give me a disconnection error, even though the router never went off. I don't know what to do anymore, because I tried contacting, buying, and rebooting but it doesn't get any better. So I don't what to do anymore because the contract doesn't expire until March 2018 and I'm too broke to get off of it What can I do now?

If the issue is on the provider side, nothing you can do yourself. If your service is bad and they can't fix it, you should be able to leave the contract without penalty since they are not providing the service you are paying for.
