[SOLVED] My internet speed is high but the download is slow

When I do a speed test it goes around 400mb/s download but when I download something on steam/torrent the download won't go beyond 11mb/s.

My network card supports up to 1000mb/s.

Your ISP could be limiting torrent traffic. If your motherboard has killer network hardware the driver software could be limiting torrent traffic.

So can I do something to remove that killer network hardware?If so is it safe?

the killer chipset is on your motherboard if you disable or remove it you wont have acces to net and do a dsl test on your loading .

Killer has a separate set of drivers -- http://support.killernetworking.com/download/killer-drivers-installation-64bit-3/ that don't have all the overhead. Download the drivers only, then unistall all the killer network stuff then install just the driver. I don't have personal experience with killer network hardware because of all the negative things I have read.
