Are you talking about your WiFi connection? Why are you trying to find the IP of your phone? That is very rarely needed. Need some details about what you are trying to do and exact errors you are seeing.

Could it be you are looking for the SSID that the router transmits and is seen by those wi-fi devices configured to see it to which they connect with a password?? That info should be on the underside or back of your router.
