my keyboard cannot type m or , or . or enter - i have a ps2 keyboard and win 7 64 bit

I was recently playing a game and now I cannot type a p or an m or press enter without using the onscreen keyboard anyone know why this would happen?

My guess is that part of your keyboard died.

However, you can try turning it upside down and lightly tapping it on the bottom to see if anything shakes loose - like food crumbs or a paperclip or...

If that doesn't help, since they keyboard is already dead, you can try opening it up and see if you can find a loose connection.

Or just buy a new keyboard.

You are using a laptop, and turned on NumLock.

M is typing a 0, because that key is part of the numeric keypad. Look on the bottom side of the M key and it will have a 0 printed on it.
