My keyboard keeps making an é when I press the question mark button

Now it only appears as an É in firefox. It works fine in word and notepad. Ive tried to change my keyboard layout to english but it still appears as an é in firefox. I even tried to press left shift and control at the same time but still not effect. How do I fix the question mark key because its really annoying.

I just asked that question also. I would like to know what button was pushed to make those letters appear in the first place. The only way I know how to get it back to normal is to restart the computer. (Which sucks when you have a few tabs open and you donèt want to close out of them)
