My keyboard limits me horribly!

I'm constantly frustrated by my keyboard's buffer capacity, letting me hold only 2 or 3 keys down at a time.

I understand that many keyboards don't have this limit (some allowing 5-6 keys, some having no limit at all) but I can't find a simple list showing me which ones and where to buy them. Can anybody point me in the right direction?

Thanks

What type of keyboard is this? Some generic one, I'm guessing?

Yea, it's some POS that cost a couple of pounds (or couple of dollars). It's always the keyboard that gets neglected when I'm putting together a new system. But I'm getting tired of this one.

The problem is, I have little money, and I want to see what the price range is on keyboards that don't have this buffer limit. And I want to finally see it in specs, instead of guessing how good it might be. :)

If you want a good keyboard then get an Microsoft keyboard. The MS Internet Keyboard costs about $20. The MS Internet Keyboard Pro (the one I'm using now) comes with a USB hub and 19 extra hot keys; all for about $40.

AMD technology + Intel technology = Intel/AMD Pentathlon IV; the ULTIMATE PC processor

I also find the Logitech Internet Navigator keyboard to be pretty good. I'm using it right now and love it.

Does anyone know of a keyboard without all this bloody extra buttons?
All I need is the "standard" keylayout, not a single key for every possible thing that you can do with your computer!
In the $40 pricerange...

Just don't use the buttons!

I'm thinking of splashing out on a "Cordless Desktop Optical" from Logitech. It is radio linked so no bloody cables, and has an optical mouse, so no more shouting "my mouse needs defurring" in the middle of a game of CS.

My theory is that if i buy a decent one, i might actually take care of it, clean it, that sort of thing. This one started off life white!!!

I never was that good with hardware theory 😱

Yeah, that´s easy for you to say!
Sure, I will NOT use the buttons, but they are still there to annoy me to death, I mean...honestly, who uses all those extra buttons anyway?

I don't use all the ones on my keyboard, but I do make use of a good few :)

well, I think they overdid it with all the buttons anyway, it would be much cooler to have a little "keyboard-lite" with a jogwheel besides the standard keyboard for other functions, like viewing movies and such.
