My keyboard on my laptop won't work

So lately I have noticed that virus scanners were keep notifying me that my computer is acting odd. I thought there wasn't a way out of it so I ignored it. I shut it off yesterday and turned it on today. Everytime I turn it on immediately it asks for a startup password (bios) and still did today. I know my password so I tried to enter it, but the keyboard didn't seem to let me. I tried to see if only a few keys didn't work, and unfortunately none worked. Do you know a malware that causes this? Or how to fix it? Thanks.

So you have another keyboard with a usb cable if so try plugging into usb port on laptop and using it instead.

Then once you can enter your computer you can run some scans. Maybe your antivirus(avg/norton?) was telling you about a performance issue.
