I have a microsoft usb keyboard. Suddenly Yesterday the Keyboard start typing on its own. The keyboard types non stop mainly ''6'' and ''=''. i deleted the keyboard from Device Manager and reinstalled the keyboard. i checked for viruses or malware i don't find anything. I have another wireless keyboard that doesn't happen on this keyboard. Is there a way to fix it? It's a pretty expensive keyboard.

Try using other keyboard, set pc up to clean boot - read instructions carefully and make sure NOT to turn all Microsoft services off or win 10 won't boot right - https://support.microsoft.com/en-au/help/929135/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows - swap to the MS USB kb and see if it acts the same. If it doesn't, it could be a conflict between the keyboard drivers and one of your start up programs. slowly re add them back to start up to find out what is causing it.

If keyboard still does same thing, have you tried it on another PC?

I do not have another computer to try on. I am now going to install Linux on the secondary hard disk. If the keyboard does the same problem in Linux. So this is probably a physical problem right?
