My keyboard's letters won't work.

So while i was chatting with a friend of mine via Steam, the chat-box suddenly closed and my keyboard's letters stopped working.
I tried pluging in another keyboard but it got the same problem (and yes i tried all USB-plugins)
The keyboard is working but the letters aren't, the delete button and CAPS button works fine.
I realized when i was on google that when the mouse scrolls it doesn't make the page go up and down, but instead it's zooming out and in. And whenever i open up a website, instead of just opening the side on the tab i'm already on, it opens it up in a new tab.
This is a huge problem for me because i can't log onto my pc when the letters aren't working. please help 🙁

Did you try a full shut down, power off on your computer?

What OS are you running - can you boot into Safe Mode?

Have you recently downloaded any updates or applications?

Especially anything that allows you to change or modify mouse and keyboard functions?

Is your computer functional enough to mouse click into and run an AV scan?

Or look at the logs for errors and warnings?

You could unplug the power and open the case also. Maybe a loose connection cable somewhere.
