my LAN is not working!!

hi guys,

i have just installed Windows 7 ultimate version and i inserted the CD and got all the drivers in..

my wireless is working fine.. however, my LAN is not working.. i connected the LAN cable but nothing is connected..

i inserted the CD again, and it tells me that the LAN driver is installed..

i need ur help guys in configuring the LAN.. i need so badly

and i am noob 🙁 so kindly bear with me.

are there any lights on the network port?

have you disconnected form the wireless network or disabled the wireless network card?

yes bro there is light when the cable is connected..

i did not disable wireless network card, i just disconnected it from my 4G router..

what do u think bro?

are you getting a valid IP form the LAN or does the IP start with 169.?
