My laptop and my friends laptop are the same

My laptop and my friends laptop are the exact same laptop, but his is a couple of years older. I am curious as to why his runs league of legends at max settings, with no frame rate drops, but I run my league at low settings, and still get frame rate drops. If it helps, I have had my disk space to 100% with only my league of legends client update running. Also my fan will be very loud every now and then, and when I play league, it gets REALLY loud, and I'm afraid it is overheating. We have 8gb's of ram, and its a i7.

If his is a couple of years older i highly doubt they are the same.

Dust and drive fragmentation might be a couple areas to explore.

I might have figured out some of it, i had a lot of important updates to run (15). I dont usually play on here, I have a desktop, but it is having problems right now.

Your GPU is Intel HD graphics - so you probably won't achieve high FPS in games, but with 8GB RAM and a core i-7, playing on low FPS should work.

The only thing is, is that my friend has the same laptop, and runs it at max (league isnt that graphic intensive). I just dont understand why mine runs so differently/poorly.

You have an Intel core i-7 4700m which was not available 2 years ago.....so they can't be "exactly the same"......
