My laptop automatically types fullstop (......)

hi iam faraas i have dell inspiron 3521 yesterday suddelny it my laptop started to type automatically fullstops ........... while chatting or typying something it automaticlly types ... so pls help me to fix this

Clean The laptop, get the key "." Off of the laptop and look if something's wrong or something is under the contact which doesn't belong there.

If all seems ok, you will have to check the cable from the keyboard to the laptop. You can look at YouTube videos, how to remove the keyboard.

The ........... key is getting sticky inside and jams. Time to replace keyboard.

But you will find one local to you, they are cheap
You could attempt repair of the button, they are super easy to break the tiny plastic bits though and fiddly as

So why is your "." typing without actually touching it?

Of course it could be a virus or Trojan, too.
Run a free antivirus scan like malwarebytes.
