My laptop can't seem to run any games

I have quite an expensive hp laptop ($1108) and it cant even run the simplest of games such as team fortress 2 or cs:go or red crucible. But is has radeon graphics so it should be able to run shouldn't it? How can I fix this problem?

Specs:
Processor: AMD A8-7410 APU with AMD Radeon R5 Graphics, 2200 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)
RAM: 8 gigabite
WIndows 10

If you just bought that, return it. For that much you can get a much much faster system. Heck, for 2-300 less you can get a faster system.

But it should also run those games since they are pretty low spec. What exactly is the issue, what happens when you try to run the games?

Well it just lags and runs at about 20 frames

So actually it CAN run games but its crap. Thats because its a laptop.

Lower the settings and make sure it's running on the faster Radeon card in video options. But overall, it's way too much money to have spent on a system with a low end video card like yours. For $1,000 you should have a system with a 970m video card which is several times faster, for $800 you can get one with a 960m video card which is also several times faster.
