at what step? when you put in the usb drive? when you start the install? when you turn the laptop on?

Initially it was asking for password at the step when I want to start running the windows set up to install and the laptop says it cannot detect an hard drive or even partition so it was directing me to go to bios to change the settings when I click f10 it ask for password please help
