Question My laptop doesn't use all available memory.

I recently updated my windows from win 8 to win 10 and my friend told me I had to install Radeon settings for my AMD A4- 5000 APU with Radeon(TM) HD Graphics. But I'm pretty sure its not integrated, it was already in there when I bought the laptop and it could run subnautica (which required at least 4gb ram to run) but now I have insufficient RAM to run it without is crashing, please help! Would it change if I uninstalled the Radeon Settings?

"AMD A4- 5000 APU with Radeon(TM) HD Graphics" has integrated GPU in the CPU, that's why it's called "APU" and not by character from Simpsons.

But why wasn't it taking up memory when I had windows 8 on it? I had all of my 4GB ram available but now I have only 3.45 useable.

It's set in the BIOS, no OS can change that. OS can only notice it or not. In any case, it's just a minimum amount and a program/game will use more of RAM as it needs.
