You may also have damaged the hard drive inside it as they definitely don't like being dropped, but the fact that the laptop is dead is a separate matter.
As Jim said, needs looking at by a repair technician.
Unfortunately, unless you yourself are a hardware technician, I'm afraid you're going to have to bring that in to your local shop to be fixed. Probably some soldering will be required, just a guess.
