Question My laptop has a charging problem

So I have a acer a515-43-r19l and it doesn’t charge my sister threw it across my room with the charging cable in it. I tried a new cable but that didn’t work I think the place where the plug goes into on the laptop is broken. I just need some help getting this to work it been just sitting in my room for months.
