Question My Laptop has no power

I have an pretty old hp pavilion 15 cs model laptop...
It suddenly went off and has no sign of power whatsoever..
Please help 🙏

Has the laptop been plugged in and left to recharge? Are you sure that there is power at the charger's outlet?

Do you have any sources from which to borrow a known working battery and charger?

Unfortunately without some way to individually test battery and/or charger just as a matter of elimination - not much can be done.

I neglected to ask "how old" is "pretty old".

Any revision numbers or dates on the laptop?

I bought it on late 2018

4 years - overall, without knowing the laptop's history, my thought is that the battery has reached EOL (End of Life).

However, the charger may have failed. That may be testable.

You could try some restoration process. No guarantees and you must be very careful with any attempts.

I gave it to a local service center..
Without even opening the back he said it was a short circuit problem... But he also said that he might be wrong and offered to check once again, opening the backcase, and inform the problem clearly by tomorrow... I'll deliver the news by tomorrow night (or the next day, or the next... whenever he gives)

Sad news... The laptop has com back........DEAD!
They said that the problem was with the IC Board and nothing could give life to my hopeless laptop... Trying to move on...

Yeah yeah I had some projects in the hdd and he was kind enough to give it to me with an hdd enclosure
