So I have an alienware area51m r2 laptop and, over the last couple of months, it has been freezing for a few seconds. This seems to happen regardless of what I'm doing, but seems more common when I'm in a resource-heavy software such as Blender.
I've noticed that you can hear the processor sort of 'stopping' during this period, as you can hear it returning to its normal buzzing(?) after it stops being frozen.
Would anyone know what's causing this and, more importantly, how to fix it? It wasn't exactly a cheap laptop and it kind of annoys me that it's having this issue.
