i have an asus nootbook k556u
specs : 8 gb ram
1 tb hhd
239 ssd kingstone
nevida 930 mx 2 gb
i installed the ssd recently due to a corrupted HHD ,
after the installation i cant run videos or games anymore.
Example, league of legends. the game use to run at 120 fps capped with no lag spikes or stuttering.
now i can Bearly play without it dropping to 20 and going back to 120 every 10 sec.
i updated my drivers and formated my laptop 3 times to see if it will fix it.
i dont know how to solve this can someone help me please

When you say you 'installed the SSD'...should we interpret this to mean a fresh WIndows install was done to the SSD?

All chipset/GPU drivers for that notebook installed as well? (You certainly do not want to just let default MS/WIndows-provided drivers suffice)

Below is the driver page at Asus, there are two variants, model 'UR' and 'URK', neither of which match the model number you provided (perhaps you left off a letter in your description?)
https://www.asus.com/me-en/Laptops/K556UR/HelpDesk_Download/

In any event, install all provided chipset drivers....

You will then need Nvidia's correct driver package appropriate for your mobile 930 MX...

https://www.geforce.com/drivers
(Again...do not rely on MS's provided drivers...ever. They are only useful enough to get you to a desktop)

Make sure your WIndows power plan is set to Performance...
