My laptop is not able to access internet using wifi

i am unable to access internet using wifi. my laptop catches wifi but internet access is still not there.please help me out

Security passphrase being requested ? Or range/interference issue.

if it is. make sure it has service pack 2 or above installed.

also. check the security setting for the wifi is exactly the same on the laptop eg. wpa2-tkip or wpa2-psk
