[SOLVED] my laptop is not displaying anything

when I press the power button harddisk also starts but the system turns off itself and again starts but nothing is coming up even the bootlogo is not coming
if i let it stay like that then the laptop just sits there just powerd on
nothing is in the display fans are spinning
os is also not booted

You might want to remove the rams from the laptop and wipe the gold contacts of the stick(s) of ram with an eraser. Wipe clean and then reseat. Also, try and power up the laptop with the battery removed(not the CMOS battery) and the adapter to the wall.
