My laptop is only showing the cable connection, it is not showing the wifi connection, I've tried everything related to turnin

In network and sharing I can only c the cable connection and connect by ethernet but I need to connect by wifi, there is no sign of wifi, drivers are up to date, and I've tried all small things.

What hardware and OS version?

If Windows, can you see that there is a wireless adapter in the device manager control panel?
