Question My laptop is refusing to switch to Nvidia GPU

My laptop is currently running on internal intel HD graphics and even when i enter the Nvidia control panel to try and switch to the Nvidia GPU for specific applicaitons (games) it just won't work and I can see this from my task manager where it shows it still running on my internal graphics

Is this trying to run off battery, or plugged in?
