my laptop is slow, why ?

hey
I have Lenovo t440p
its core i7 with 2x4mb ram working on widows 10
but its very slow and I don't know why ???? I formatted it recently and I installed nothing on it and still very slow.
is that because it doesn't have a separate graphics card ?
I can hear a sound coming from the hard disk but it is like this since I bought it 2 years before for 1000$.

Anything with the OS on a hard drive will be slow, more so if it's failing. Have you considered getting an ssd

There's a mistake MOST people make with laptops.
That is moving it while it's still on, that's why it's slow, also why you're hearing a sound from the HDD.
Since the HDD is spinning so fast, the turbulence while you're moving is damaging it.

I know that i should not moving while working and the sound is new while the problem is old

Well, if you hear sound loudly, it's time to change it. Get an SSD while you're at it, it doesn't break when you move it.
