My laptop is slow

Hi, i recently buyed an Acer nitro 5 and it happens that when i'm using Lightroom ir runs too slow

When i reset the computer it runs much faster. Due to what component do You think that is causing this?

It has:
I5 8300
1050 GTX
Single 8gb ram
Samsung 970 nvme

Is it just after effects?

What are utilization of CPU gpu and ram in lightroom? And temps?

Doubt it's a component but software you are installing. When you say "reset" what is that exactly? Re-installing Windows fully, doing a system restore while keeping programs, rebooting?

I agree with @NightHawkRMX . The single-channel memory most certainly has an impact on performance.

i was thinking the same thing, i should upgrade my memory

i notice that if i open 2 editing programs at the same time it lags
considerably

what i meant with reaset was just turning the laptop off and on again
