Question My laptop isn't responding/working right

^ it turns on but the wifi light is orange and the caps lock light keeps flashing. its a black HP laptop. if it matters this started happening after I plugged it back in when it ran out of power and turned off. I tried turning it on and off... anyone have any idea why its doing this? I cannot get specs from it since I can't use it and don't know the spec by heart.

You need to specify the model of your HP laptop. An SKU would help us two fold. If it's got a removable battery, remove it and try powering the laptop off the AC adapter.
