My Laptop keeps on Turning Off! HELP!

My Laptop is an Acer Aspire 4730z and it keeps on shutting off by itself, it just turns off without a blue screen please help me fix this? is this a problem inside the laptop, or is it just a problem in the windows

Sounds like overheating. Either its fan has failed, or it is clogged with dust and/or pet hair.

It does sound like it is overheating, but you could try just powering the laptop with the battery out... Then maybe checking the heat vent on the side of the laptop to see if it feels hot; check if the heat vent is not clogged up with dust, hair etc... Also when you use the laptop make sure it is on a flat surface so that the CPU fan can bring in cold air from around the laptop. Lastly, make sure you can hear the fan spinning.

How long does it take before the laptop with turn off?

I have a very similar problem with a 4370Z. It starts up, the far left bottom green LED lights up and stays on for maybe 1-2 seconds. Then it goes out.
I've made sure the cooling is clear. The fan does rotate. I've removed memory, HD and CD drive. Still does the same thing. On battery or without battery and just power supply connected - no difference.
