Some days ago I bought the double jack splitter as my laptop has 1 combo jack. I used to make videos on YouTube using my mic (Sf-920) plugged to the splitter but after a week when I plug in my 3.5mm jack to splitter to laptop, my laptop mic starts to work instead of the sf 920. Please help. Thanks

You want to right click the speaker on your task bar, click on Recording devices, and select the device you want and hit Set Default.

Also, depending on the program, you may have to go into it's internal settings and select the mic. I know Adobe is famous for this. I have headphones plugged in, but it sometimes come through my speakers on playback.
