My laptop runs super slow even though it has good specs

To start off I do not know very much about laptops, or technology in general.

But anyways here’s my problem. I bought a Razer Blade, and at first it ran perfectly, but 8 months later it runs games super slowly. I get about 10-30 FPS on PUBG, on low settings. The laptop has not been damaged, to my knowledge. And yes, I have tried to solve the issue with basic solutions, things like making sure nothing besides my game is eating up memory. Can anyone please give me some insight about the issue.

Solution
If the laptop has a dedicated graphics card (such as an Nvidia GeForce card), it might also not be switching to the dedicated card for some reason, and may be trying to render the game using the processor's integrated graphics hardware instead, which would be weaker. That could potentially be the result of an update to the graphics driver software or something. Do you happen to know the exact model number of your Razer Blade, or what hardware it has? If you don't know if it has a dedicated card, a utility like the previously mentioned HWinfo should also list what kind of GPU your system has. Here's the site where you can download that utility for free...

This is the number one complaint ever, "Why is my pc slowing down". It is a multi-facted issue and in some cases difficult to diagnosis. I have many suggestions but since you didn't really provide any useful information at all I am not going to write a book as an answer. So in short, I don't have the solution to your issue, however, the best piece of advice I could give is NEVER EVER install anything you do not use or need. That is a killer of performance in and of itself.

Thank you guys for all the useful answers, I was able to figure out my issue. Hence, my laptop now runs games much better.
Bruh are you kidding??

I'm all over the internet looking for problems similar to the topic of yours, I go through the thread, you did not specifically describe what is going on, "the game is just running slow", you didn't provide any details. And then you proceeded to thank them, WITHOUT SAYING WHAT YOU DID TO SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM!!!!!

Are you frkin kiddin bro!! cmon, what happened? what did you do?
