My laptop screen will not tun on. Occasionally it will but its rare that it does. i can hook it up to my tv and the screen sho

My laptop does not turn on when i turn my computer on. The only time i can use it is when i hook it up to my television. Other than that the chances of it turning on are small to hardly ever. Also when it comes on i constantly have to situate it right for it to stay on. could there be lose wire or something in it?

If an external connection works fine then it may be a loose connection. Especially if moving the screen fixes things.
