My laptop suddenly switches off while playing dota

I have been playing dota since 2 years and took a break then just recently installed dota again. The laptop suddenly switches off either while playing the game or when im into 1 minute of match making. I've tried almost all the solutions ie Cleaning the fan, Changing the registery stuff, Power management, And even reinstalling both windows and steam. Is there a solution for this? Pls it will be of a great use

My older Celeron based laptop would switch off when watching a Youtube video of 10 minute or longer in length, but, when fully disassembled, I discovered that there was minimal paste under the heatsink, and what little htere was, had solidified, allowing the CPU to overheat....

Once X temp was achieved, it would hard power off....
