my laptop takes long time to start

hello,
my laptop takes more time to start..my laptop is samsung Sf511-s02in
4 GB ram 500 GB HArd disk.i have only about 2 gb of data in my laptop. i dont know why it takes alot of time.. from two days its not even starting 🙁 i can see only SAMSUNG Bootscreen nothing came up after this. dont know what happend to my laptop even its getting heat.

Use Hiren's BootCD and diagnose RAM and HDD.

Hi,

Do a check disk to see if the disk is OK.

You can also use http://www.hdtune.com/ to failsearch the HDD for problems.

If the disk is faulty, check the if theres still warranty on it to exchange it. If you´re still dissapointed on the speeds i suggest getting a SSD drive, since you only use 2gb of data atm a 128Gb drive would do, this will speed it up tremendously
