Is there a BIOS option that prevents the laptop from powering itself on without me pressing the power button?
When I leave the office, I shut the laptop off, wait for the screen to go dark, the leds to turn off, and the fans to stop spinning. I put the laptop in my bag, and then, when I get home, the laptop bag is warm to the touch, and the laptop is on, and untouchably hot. Like I almost needed oven mits. The fans are blowing, but the bag is a great insulator, and the air has no place to go.
This seems like a serious hazard. Why would design laptops this way?
