So I bored and downloaded the program called speccy which reviews your pc info and stuff, on the summary I noticed the graphics card changed to Intel HD Graphics 5500 when its supposed to be NVIDIA GEFORCE 930M.

As you can see from this image look at the graphics and you can see Intel HD Graphics 5500.

So does this mean my laptop uses Intel HD Graphics 5500 now? Not the original graphics card?

It also appears on different programs like CCleaner

any help would be appreciated :)

In truth your laptop uses both GPUs, just not both at the same time. The Nvidia driver software manages the switchover from one to the other.

When the high-performance Nvidia GPU isn't required (eg just for Windows and normal Windows apps & tasks) the Intel GPU is automatically used by default - - - this uses less power so the laptop battery lasts longer.

When you launch a game or other graphics-intensive software, the laptop switches to the Nvidia GPU if the appropriate changes have been made in Nvidia Control Panel for each game.

When I run ROBLOX which isnt an intense game, I noticed fps drops today which isnt suppose to lag, I doubt my laptop still uses the integrated gpu (Intel HD 5500) when I run ROBLOX (GAME).

How can I fix it? What should I do?
