My Laptop Will Not Install Updates And Get Stuck In Booting Process??

I Have a Compaq Persario F700 Which I Just Upgraded To Windows 7 But After Initial Set Up It Will Not Download Updates And Gives Me A Blue Screen With A Mini Dump Message And Just Continues To Reboot?? Now If I Take The Hard Drive Out Of The Laptop And Put It In My Desk Top It Downloads Some Updates But Always Reboots Normally?? Can Anyone Point Me In The Right Direction To Correct This?? Windows 7 isn't supported on the Presario F700, only Vista is supported (that is to say, HP only supply Vista drivers for that model):

Whilst it's true that some Vista drivers will work on Windows 7, that is by no means guaranteed.
This may well explain the problem your are experiencing.
