My laptop won't connect to Wifi in my student accommodation? but will to any other WIFI

My laptop won't connect to Wifi in my student accommodation. It connects to my WIFI when I'm at home and connects to WIFI in college. When I'm at the house it says there is internet and I type in the password but it doesn't connect to the internet???My Ipod and my IPhone connects every time but not my laptop? Please help, I would love to work from home.

Go to Network and sharing center, Manage Wireless Networks, delete the network you are trying to connect to, and then try to reconnect to it.

What is student accommodation compared to your house? It doesn't connect to either?

Sorry it connects when I'm at home which is a Wifi network. The student accommodation is also Wifi network but it wont connect?
