My laptop won't give a password input option for wifi connection

My phone recognises and connects to the wifi network no problem, but my laptop doesn't give the option to type the network password. It attempts to connect and then says "unable to connect to this network". There is no option to forget the network as I've never been able to connect to it.

Go to Network and Sharing Center in Control Panel, click your wireless network, go wireless properties, security and change the password. http://imgur.com/N2V8CpT
