my laptop won't power on.

I cannot get my laptop to power on. It's completely dead. The a/c adapter has a green indicator light on the power pack when it is plugged in. There is no light on the laptop power supply (not amber or green--nothing). How do i determine if it's the battery or the power jack on the laptop? I did notice in the past that a wiggle on the jack made my battery stop charging.

you got the answer the ac plug in the laptop is disconnect and need repair .

yes I figured that! now I have to decide the cheapest way to repair it. I've never opened a laptop so I'm not sure I can handle it but it seems simple?

go carefully not to short the wires on the board when resoldering the plug back google your system there is could be some link that tel you how to do it .

i have an acer aspire 6930 and the part shows a plug on the end, no soldering? i hope!
