A couple of weeks ago, my laptop (asus x502c or something) did a mandatory restart and updates etc. Everything was working fine until i was trying to do work online. I had opened the top and everything was okay. Then about 5 minutes later put of nowhere, my laptop is telling me that I am not connected the internet. No matter how many times I manually try to connect to a wireless network it just says that it can't connect to this network, despite showing a nearly perfect wifi connection. Ive tried changing wireless settings, power settings, restarting my laptop, disconnecting and reconnecting to the wifi and nothing works. As soon as I open it up it works for a good 5 minutes and then it just refuses to connect to the wifi... Any ideas?

Solution
Hey - have you tried forgetting the wifi?
*Click on the network icon
*Click network settings
*Click manage wifi settings
*Manage known networks
*Click forget network

If that doesn't work the other thing I would try is uninstalling the driver for the wireless, restarting laptop and reinstalling.
