Question My laptop's HDMI port not recognizing the external monitor ?

So since I got my laptop I've been using it with my Toshiba monitor and one day HDMI port stopped recognizing the monitor. I thought the problem was with the monitor but I tried connecting it to other laptop and it worked. I also check my HDMI cable and used 4+ different cables but clearly the problem wasn't with the cable.

There's another port for display in my laptop, it's called Mini-DisplayPort I decided that I'm gonna use it and it worked perfectly for a while, but then it stopped working just like the HDMI port did, but when I went back to using the HDMI port again it worked sort of, but with burly yellow blue not full not clear picture appearing at the monitor with resolution of DVI2 2128 x 1075 as the picture below:

if anyone have an idea of what's going on with me please help me out

This could be a faulty monitor rather than faulty laptop -- you need to confirm if that's the case or not.

Connect the monitor to another laptop or PC to see if the problem follows the monitor.

I forget to mention that the problem isn't with the monitor I have tried to connected it to other devices and it worked perfectly I also tried to connect my laptop to different monitors and it didn't work so the problem definitely from my laptop.
