My laptops screen is too bright

hi
my laptops screen is too bright how do i adjust the contrast im using a hp laptop

Press the Fn key and the key with a picture of a sun on together.(there are two keys with a sun on) one will make your screen darker and one will make it brighter.You can also use the settings in the control panel.
