My lenovo 3000 G230 laptop cant detect any usb device

Please help urgently ?
cannot detect my dongle or pendrives etc...

Restart the laptop, if that doesn't fix it, go into device manager see if there are any exclamation marks, if there are none refresh the USB slots. I am lazy and don't feel like explaining how to do that so heres a link

Tell it to search for updates online or go into device manager and right click the exclamation marks, update.

not been able to upload snapshot can u take remote control of the device through ammyy

I really doubt this would help but you might try downloading and installing the USB 2.0 card reader driver http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/research/hints-or-tips/detail.page?DocID=HT072961

Also have windows check for updates (not in device manager) Control panel > windows update > check for updates on the left hand side.
