my lenovo y510p lags when im playing on battery mode

Hi guys... can someone help for this problem.. im having trouble when im playing when its on battery mode it lags but i have no trouble when my adapter is plug in.... if i change my battery to a higher quality will it help?

That's just the way the cookie crumbles. The components are underclocked when running on battery to save energy. There's no simple way to get around it, but if you were desperate you could try some very light overclocking while running in battery mode to get a few more FPS.

Other than that though, you will always get worse performance on a battery.

I know, it's annoying isn't it? I also would bet that the battery can't even supply enough watts to fully power everything at full performance.

Yes its annoying .. but i think the purpose of it is to protect the batteries life ... i think Lol
